1. What we collect

When you create a shortt.in account, we collect the information you give us directly:

Email address and password (used only for authentication)
Profile details you choose to add, including username, display name, bio, avatar, links, and social handles
Payment details when you upgrade to Pro (handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store your card number). If you enable tips, tippers pay through the payment app(s) you choose to list (Venmo, PayPal, Cash App, or a link of your own), so we never see or store that payment information either

We also automatically collect basic analytics when your page is visited: page views, link clicks, referrer, and device type (mobile/tablet/desktop). We don't use tracking cookies or fingerprinting to identify individual visitors.

2. How we use it

To operate your account and render your public page
To show you analytics about your own page's performance
To process Pro subscription payments via Stripe
To send account-related email (confirmation, password reset), never marketing email without your consent

3. Who we share it with

We use a small set of processors to run the service, and share only what each one needs:

Supabase: database, authentication, and file storage
Stripe: Pro subscription billing
Vercel: application hosting

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

4. Public information

Anything you add to your public profile page, including display name, bio, links, socials, and avatar, is visible to anyone who visits shortt.in/yourusername. Don't put information there you don't want public.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data as long as your account is active. You can delete links, collections, or your account at any time from Settings; account deletion removes your profile and associated data from our production database.

6. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by signing in and editing your profile or settings, or by contacting us. If you're in the EU/UK or another jurisdiction with data-protection rights, you may also have the right to request a copy of your data or object to certain processing.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
